Yeah I realize I've been neglecting dA a lot but the past couple months have been busy so please bear with me. I have a job now. Working quite a bit at a little Italian restaurant close to my house. It's money, that's really all I have to say.

College let out about 20 days ago and the drudgery is already starting to set it. I do what I can to keep my drawing skills sharp and I've been fitting in quite a few games. Super Robot Taisen K is fun considering I have Kira Yamato at the helm. Everyone usually dies before they can barely dent my robots. I've also really gotten into Record of Agarest War. it's not as filled with sexiness as Aksys would have you believe but it's still a solid SRPG with a decent story and great protagonist creation system.

Speaking of drawing I promise to upload more soon. I got quite a few drawings done and I got my sketchbook from Drawing back so there's even more. I hope you all enjoy it.

As you can see I've managed to draw within the last couple days which fills me with joy. I hope you all enjoy what I've put up. This'll unfortunately be the last update in a while as I must go back to school on Sunday. But I hope you all enjoy what I've put up and I look forward to seeing more work from the rest of you as well.

Quite a short update but that's all I really needed to say.

Ok it's actually more like 10 days. It's a terrible realization I know. Aaaaaand....I haven't drawn a thing since I've been home. I got a PS3 for Christmas so I guess the lack of drawing can be attributed to that.

But I've been watching Blazblue: Continuum Shift gameplay vids recently which has given me inspiration for some more Blazblue fanart. I guess you'll be seeing that in the coming weeks.

Also I have quite a few things I've done that I submitted for a sketchbook review. The problem is.....I left my portfolio at school so you'll have to wait to see those 3 drawings.

I guess that's it.

....is upon me. And so marks my first semester at college. It wasn't really as bad as I thought. All in all a great learning experience. Made some great friends that I can comfortably talk nerd with. I never thought the brunt of my time with college friends would be spent talking about the intricacies of Star Wars or listening to Asterisk by Orange Range and Ready, Steady Go! by L'Arc~en~Ciel but it is so.

Classes have been going fairly well but I honestly am a little disappointed with myself. I've been getting B's or so in my art classes but I kinda wish I had done better. None of my work has really been deemed outstanding enough for a showing which makes me a little disappointed with myself. I can say that my skills have improved a lot but part of me still feels wanting. Guess I'll just have to try even harder next semester when I start working into my concentration.

Finals week is coming up so that's really all I can type. Here's hoping I do well.

Home and Thanksgiving this week. A premature Happy Turkey Gorging Day to all.

Even though I'm going home this weekend it doesn't seem like I'll be leaving college. Have two art projects and an essay to write in my time home. I'll try and find some way to get it done but it's more of a hassle than it should be.

As usual college is going awesome. Hanging out with friends and playing Blazblue together never gets old. But here's the best part. Dave Filoni, supervising director for Star Wars: The Clone Wars and director for Avatar: The Last Airbender came to my school! He gave an hour long talk about where he came from and how he got to where he is. he graduated from my college so I have high hopes for myself as a fellow animation major. He sat right in front of us for his presentation too! My friend Levi and I each got a signed action figure from him. I have a signed Count Dooku and Levi has a signed Plo Koon. Then came my friend Ryan. He asked Dave to sign his sketchbook so he could have inspiration whenever he drew. Instead of just a signature Dave drew Anakin, Asohka and Wrex right in Ryan's sketchbook and signed it! He even turned down an interview so he could finish the drawing for him! It was so cool.

Now fueled by this magnificent inspiration I vow to devote myself wholly to animation. Will try to post what I do in the next semester here. Also have about 4 drawings I've done since last time. Three are Pokemon themed. >_> Will post when I get back. Have a great holiday guys!
